I never got to buy one of Winning Coffee's mugs before they went out of business, so I decided to make my own based on the watercolor I painted in their honor. For those who were not living in Albuquerque, New Mexico from the 90's through the 2010's, Winning Coffee was the the hub of arts and community for the university area. Winning was how I got into slam poetry as a high schooler, and was my safe place to feel normal while I was living in a shelter before starting college.
